Sales Engineer

Job Function

  • Must be able to learn, understand, and communicate technical issues, solutions and concepts related to batteries and our hardware and software program solutions. 
  • Build strong relationships with the customer contacts to be a trusted resource for any battery / electrical system question or need.
  • Support customer requests for trainings, tradeshows, and other technical reviews.
  • Adaptability for variety of audience groups; senior management, management, shop floor, technician
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and communicate technical issues, solutions and concepts related to batteries and our hardware and software program solutions. 
  • Responsive to customer requests and questions.
  • Follow up and support of the solution sold to ensure it is a success for all stakeholders.  Identify ways to improve the solution and help create the next sales opportunity.
  • Travel 20-30% of the time.

Job Qualifications

  • Education – Automotive Service Excellence Certification(s) and / or a Bachelor’s in Engineering a plus
  • 2-5 years of working experience in automotive service (Dealership or Aftermarket)
  • Strong, clear communication skills and exceptional listening and question asking ability.
  • Continuous improvement drive and dedication
  • Experience in handling multiple accounts/projects, ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Experience working with custom engineered hardware/software solutions a plus
  • Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
